Requesting RIPTIKs for Trips

If you are taking students on a trip and using RIPTA for transportation, please follow these steps:

Request Process

  • All RIPTIK requests must be submitted through FMX

Deadlines

  • Make request at least 5 full school days before your trip so we can prepare RIPTIKs.

  • Requests made without proper notice may be declined, and the trip will need to be rescheduled.

Important Guidelines

  • Do not request RIPTIKs on the day of the trip.

  • Do not ask another building for RIPTIKs under any circumstances.

  • RIPTIKs should only be requested for students who do not already have Wave Cards.

Wave Card Verification

  • A live Monthly Bus Pass List is available and updates automatically when cards are replaced.

  • Please check this list before submitting your request to determine the number of RIPTIKs needed.
