Technology Support
We're Here to Help
Technology is an important part of learning at the Met. Every student is provided with the tools they need to participate in projects, research, communication, and everyday learning.
If your student experiences a technology issue, your first point of contact is always their advisor or school coordinator. They'll work with our Technology Department to make sure the issue is resolved as quickly as possible.
This approach allows us to provide personalized support while keeping your student's advisor informed and involved.
Student Chromebooks
Each student is issued a Chromebook for use throughout the school year.
Information about your student's Chromebook, including our device insurance program, is included in your New Family Welcome Packet. We encourage families to review these materials carefully before the start of school.
Students are expected to care for their Chromebook and bring it to school each day, fully charged and ready for learning.
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Devices
If a Chromebook is lost, stolen, or damaged, please notify your student's advisor or school coordinator as soon as possible.
Prompt reporting allows us to assist with repairs or replacement and helps ensure your student can continue learning with minimal disruption.
Internet Safety
Creating a safe digital learning environment is a shared responsibility between students, families, and the school.
Our Internet Safety and Acceptable Use Policy is included in the New Family Welcome Packet and outlines expectations for responsible technology use both at school and while using school-issued devices.
The Met takes online safety seriously. Reports involving inappropriate online behavior, cyberbullying, threats, or other digital safety concerns are reviewed promptly. Our Technology Department works closely with school leadership, social workers, and the Community Safety team to investigate concerns, support students, and take appropriate action when needed.
