At the Met, education extends far beyond the classroom. Beginning in ninth grade, students explore careers and interests through internships with local businesses, nonprofits, hospitals, artists, engineers, entrepreneurs, government agencies, and hundreds of community partners.
These real-world experiences help students connect academics with life beyond high school while building confidence, responsibility, and professional skills.
By graduation, every student leaves with experiences—not just coursework.

The Met is made up of six small public high schools where every student belongs to an Advisory—a close-knit learning community led by an advisor who gets to know each student and family over four years.
Students are more than a number here.
Advisors celebrate successes, help students overcome challenges, communicate regularly with families, and support each student as they prepare for college, careers, and life.
Because students are truly known, they are seen, heard, and supported.
Learning Built Around Your Child
No two students have the same goals.
