Thank you, students, parents and staff for 21 years of commitment and excellence. As you know, and now the world sees, the success of our students has made The Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center (The Met) one of the most innovative schools in the world. The Met hosts hundreds of visitors annually. We have been the subject of newspaper and magazine articles, and there are more than 100 schools around the globe that are based on the Met model. Even President Obama has said, “...we should follow the example of places like The Met School in Providence, Rhode Island.”
We congratulate the Met Class of 2017 and we are so proud of what you have accomplished. We wish you continued success as you begin the next chapters of your lives.
